In July 2020, India announced a new National Education Policy (NEP) that promises to usher in a radical transformation in school and higher education. NEP 2020 has been envisaged within the framework on the 21st century that will reform all aspects of education domain including system, regulation and governance. NEP 2020 also features internationalization of higher education and recommends India branches for the top 100 institutions of learning, and will permit top 100 Indian educational institutions to explore foreign land to open its operations. Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) has invited a panel of experts to discuss these momentous changes in India’s education sector. The panel discussion will be preceded by a special address by Apoorva Srivastava, Consul General of India in Toronto.
