Gurdev came to Canada in 2004 and very quickly rose through the ranks at KPMG to become a Partner. KPMG LLP is one of the top four audit firms with offices located globally, including 33 locations across Canada, which provide for consulting services to various industries. Listen as he talks about what it took for him to succeed, the lessons he’s learned along the way, and his advice on what it takes to becoming a leader.

Prior to moving to Toronto in 2004 from Mumbai, Gurdev worked with KPMG India where he led engagements to advance the listings of Indian Public companies on both the NASDAQ and NYSE. He made his entry into the financial industry after obtaining his Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai (India) and his Indian Chartered Accountant designation.

With the high demand for Chartered Accountants here in Canada, Gurdev capitalized on the opportunity to relocate to Toronto where he currently specializes in the Energy and Mining industry. Working in this capacity Gurdev has become a key player in assisting Canadian companies to go public.
