Tax and estate planning strategies for individuals and small business owners
Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce is organizing a seminar in collaboration with CPA Ontario on, “Tax and estate planning strategies for individuals and small business owners”. The seminar will provide an overview of the common issues and concerns that individuals and small business owners face as they develop their estate and succession planning goals. The session will explore ways of ensuring the most tax-efficient transfer of your estate to the next generation, with a special focus on the use of life insurance in the small business context.

Jeffrey H. Waugh
B.Phil, LL.B, CFP, CLU
Jeff is a Director with the Tax, Wealth & Insurance Planning Group at Sun Life Financial. He provides taxation support across all areas of Sun Life’s Individual Insurance and Wealth division in Canada, including product support & development, distribution, marketing and operations.
Jeff completed an undergraduate degree focused on interdisciplinary leadership at the University of New Brunswick, followed by a law degree from Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He holds both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. Jeff is a member of Advocis (The Financial Advisors Association of Canada) and an associate member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU).
