Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce is organizing in partnership with CIBC Wood Gundy and Excel Funds an interactive session on Emerging India: The new Economic Superpower.

Speakers:     

Andre Kent: He is an investment Advisor at CIBC Wood Gundy in Mississauga with over 20 years of investment experience. He assists his clients in providing professional investment advice since 1986 with an exceptional understanding of interest rates, the economy and financial markets and their challenges. He has fostered hundreds of client relationships built upon the cornerstone of uncompromising ethics, integrity and trust. He has been able to build a successful career as an Investment Advisor by placing an emphasis on fixed income investing (Bonds, Preferred Shares, Convertible Bonds, Dividend Stocks, etc.)

Bhim D Asdhir: He is founder of Excel Funds Management Inc. and has provided visionary leadership which has fostered the company’s growth and success since 1998. He established Excel by launching the Excel India Fund, which is currently the largest mutual fund in Canada focused on investing in India as emerging markets represent the best investment opportunity for investors.  Bhim has over 27 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Bhim was the recipient of the ICCC Male Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007 and Descartes Award in Mathematics.
